Before Pictures and Chow/Workout Confessions

So, I really despise full body pictures of myself...I'm sure some of you can relate.  My insecurities get in the way of the big picture.  BUT I am going to post my before pictures on here for the world to see.  EEKS!


 Start Weight: 156lbs



Chow Confessions:

Breakfast:

Protein Shake before gym
Protein Shake after gym

1 scrambled egg
1 peach
1 cup of Frosted Mini Wheats

Lunch:

1/2 of a Turkey and Cheese Sandwich
1 Apple
1 Oreo
Coke Cherry Zero

Dinner:

1 piece of pizza
1 breadstick
1 banana
1 Oreo
Coke Cherry Zero


Workout:


Total Time: 45 min.

Treadmill: 10 minutes; alternated walking and jogging

Leg Press: 3 sets of 15 reps at 100lbs

Other leg machines(I have NO idea what they are called): 3 sets of 15 reps each.  Weight varied between 70 and 80lbs

Lateral Hops(jumping off and on exercise stands): 3 minutes (KILLER!!!)

Ab Bench: 15 sit ups

I've Moved!



I had a weight loss blog called Pounding Down to the Beach, but I didn't feel like the name fit the goal anymore. I've moved over to my main blogging account(I also have a blog called Just a Clip Away).   So, what's the purpose of this blog?

I want to inspire people to get healthy, keep myself accountable in my journey to being healthy, and share what does and doesn't work for me.  I am no health professional or body builder, by any means.  I'm just an average American housewife that works full time, has two kids, a husband, and a sweet  hyper dog.

I hope you follow me in my journey to getting healthy.  I'm not looking for a "number", just simply a healthier lifestyle that I can share with my family and readers.
